I loved that I could take a short walk of about 500 meters to enjoy the beautiful Smothers Park and was thrilled to find the International Bluegrass Music Museum just 1.5 km away, making it perfect for my weekend strolls through the city while soaking in the local culture.

Rooms modern, staff friendly.

The river view from our third-floor balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunset. Staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was delicious with fresh farm-to-table options. However, the lack of extra towels and limited kitchenette supplies could use some improvement.

The spacious common areas had plenty of seating, making it welcoming. As a senior, I reveled in the easy accessibility throughout the hotel, and the lovely river view was simply delightful.

My stay was fantastic! The hotel really exceeded my expectations compared to my previous visit in owensboro. The room had a great view of the river, and the staff was cute and helpful throughout my trip.

My stay at Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront was delightful. The hotel's design features spacious common areas with plenty of seating, making it welcoming and easy to navigate. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially for seniors like myself.

Plus, the hotel had a great sun terrace that made for some nice relaxation. The only downside was that the room could get a bit muggy, but it didn't stop us from having a fabulous time! 😊

The view from the riverfront balcony rooms is stunning, perfect for sunsets. Access to the scenic riverwalk directly outside the hotel provides a beautiful backdrop and the chance for a nice stroll by the Ohio River.

One major hiccup was that the pool promised to be heated was instead a chilly 62 degrees—definitely not what I expected after a long motorcycle ride. Also, the air conditioning in the room struggled to maintain a constant temperature, making it feel muggy. To top it off, the on-site restaurant's breakfast wasn't complimentary. we ended up paying for meals that weren’t as warm as we’d like. Lastly, I noticed some cleanliness issues with splatters on walls and a few shabby towels that could use replacement. It's clear there's room for improvement on the maintenance front.

Highly Recommend for Couples Seeking Relaxation

The view from our balcony was fine, overlooking the river, enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning, felt like we were on vacation. The walk-in shower was a fantastic touch, felt like a luxury in a standard hotel room, made the whole experience feel special.

It wasn't inexpensive, but worth it for the experience and comfort we received.

I stayed in a gorgeous room with a balcony overlooking the Ohio River, and that sunset was amazing! The heated indoor pool was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and the friendly staff at the on-site restaurant made breakfast an absolute delight. The free trolley service to downtown attractions was a huge bonus and made our adventure so easy!

Nice river views!

Had a really good time! The hotel was super clean and I loved the balcony view of the Ohio River from my room. The bathroom was sleek and nice, and the service was top-notch at check-in. The outdoor seating area was cool too. Only thing was the pool was packed with kids due to a local tournament, so couldn't enjoy it.

The glass elevator was a hit – the kids loved the views while going up. Plus, the outdoor area is great for relaxing. Just keep in mind the pool might be busy during local events. I recommend exploring nearby shops and taking a stroll by the river. it’s beautiful!
